Plum and Apple Cobbler

Looking for another tasty cobbler recipe for your fall baking? This Plum and Apple Cobbler is simple and super delicious! As plum season comes to an end and Apple season reaches it’s peak, you’ll love the marriage between these two sweet and tarty fruits!

Plum and Apple Cobbler

Makes 8 servings

Prep: 15 minutes, Stand: 10 minutes, Bake: 55 minutes, Cool: 30 minutes

1 (16.3-ounce) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits, Grands!® Pillsbury®

2 pounds plums, cut into slices

2 pounds McIntosh apples, cut into slices

3⁄4 cup sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch


1. Preheat oven to 375°. Bake biscuits according to package directions; cool on a wire rack. Spray a 13×9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

2. In a large bowl, toss together plum and apple slices, sugar, and cornstarch; let stand for 10 minutes.

3. Spoon filling into prepared baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes; remove foil, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes longer,  or until fruit is bubbly. Arrange baked biscuits over filling, and bake for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack, and cool for 30 minutes before serving.
